im going to summer school on my own and to Tribal Vibe on my own. and of course JOY on my own.
Ill go to workshops virtually anywhere if they are easy to get to .....on my own.
Regarding age ..most people tell me i dont look my age my hair is still naturally dark brown but i do have a problem remembering chorographies now which is irritating. -

Thu, April 10, 2008 - 6:53 AMMe too, I went to my first workshops at tribalondon on my own, it was fantastic and met up with a few friends from here & myspace there, only time it was a bit awckward was on the sat night, I got sat next to a dirty old man with his coat over his lap...enjoying the second half of the show a bit too much lol
So, have made firm plans to watch all upcoming shows with people I know from now on lol x -

Well, I hope you enjoy yourself at this hafla; it was the amazing family-like tribal community in Az that sold tribal to me and so that's what I set out to create here among my classes and events - a dance community with a supportive ethos - and so far with the exception of a couple of little hiccups it seems to be working! Everybody is really friendly and really welcoming and hopefully you'll have random dancers coming up to talk to you. (well, I at least have a habit of walking up to complete strangers in pubs and start talking to them!). It's all very informal and relaxed and... fun! :)

Sun, May 4, 2008 - 6:57 PMOh, I totally get that! And what so many don't get is how many *more* friends you make by being such a free spirit. :) Unfortunately I'm tied now to two young children so I can't travel as much, though one is a keen dancer and one is a keen drummer, so there's hope. :)
